The plot stacked 80 radio waves from the first-ever discovered pulsar. Framed by stark sans-serif typography top and bottom, the image became one of the most recognizable visual symbols in pop culture history.
Dimensions: 36 in x 25.5 in (91 cm x 64 cm)

Formed in Manchester in 1976, Joy Division was a pioneering English post-punk band defined by heavy, melodic basslines, gloomy atmospheric guitars, and the haunting baritone vocals of lead singer Ian Curtis. They released only two studio albums—including the landmark Unknown Pleasures—before their career was tragically cut short by Curtis's death in 1980, which led the remaining members to form New Order.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard backed envelope for protection.

See the FAQ for more information on shipping, tracking and insurance options.

https://lampposted.com/products/1980s-joy-division-poster-unknown-pleasures-1979-by-peter-saville-new-wave-synth-pop-rock-music-wall-art-decor
