This is a beautiful and bold mid century French poster from the French Riveira by Jacques Dubois, depicting a bright golden personified sun sitting in a rocking chair, surrounded by deep blue water and palm trees. Wonderful concept that the sun would choose to rest in the Riviera in the winter.
The caption at the bottom reads, "le soleil passe d'hiver en France sur la Côte d'Azur" or "The Sun Spends the Winter on the French Riviera" ... only the Côte d'Azur has been trimmed off.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm. This poster has been stored folded, so there are crease marks which shouldn't be very noticeable under pressed glass.

These posters will be delivered in a cardboard backed envelope for protection.
