This is a rare old French celebration week poster from 1951 advertising "Semaine de la plus belle France" or "Week of the most beautiful France. It shows the French national bird, the rooster or cock, with a ladder over it's shoulder and a brush and pail hanging off that. It takes work to make something beautiful!
A poster that is unremittingly French and oozing with French national pride.
