An original 1954 "2nd festival of dramatic and lyrical art" from the Beaugency region of France, centred around Orleans. It promises arts, music and theatre across three days of comedy and music from Mozart.
The paper and patina of this poster are a bit special, a paper addition is on top of the poster to add rn Orleanais to the Beaugency strapline.

Beaugency is a commune in the Loiret department, Centre-Val de Loire, north-central France. It is located on the Loire river, upriver (northeast) from Blois and downriver from Orléans.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm.

These posters are sent as unframed. They are delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
