The Château de Mesnières is a historic castle located in the Normandy region of northern France, specifically in the Seine-Maritime department. The château is situated near the small village of Mesnières-en-Bray, nestled in the scenic Pays de Bray region, known for its rolling hills, forests, and charming villages. It is a notable example of a Renaissance-style château, though its history spans several centuries.
In 1954, the opera "Le Jongleur de Notre-Dame" by Jules Massenet was performed at the Château de Mesnières. The Château de Mesnières, located in Normandy, is a Renaissance-era castle that has historically hosted various cultural and artistic events, including music performances and theater.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.
These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
