This is a Danish environmental anti nuclear poster from the Kampagnen mod Atomvåben (Campaign Against Nuclear Weapons) from 1961. It shows poignant images of darkened victims of nuclear fallout.
The strapline is "ikke angst men modstand" or not anxiety, but resistance.

The campaign against nuclear weapons was founded in the summer of 1960, the first march started with around 800 participants from Holbæk, where the Nike rockets were, and headed towards Roskilde. The next day they continued across the Tune past the Honest John battery for the third day to end at Rådhuspladsen in Copenhagen. Here the number of participants swelled to 5,000.
The second campaign march in Easter 1961 started with 2000 participants and received press coverage.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
