Ib Antoni drew over 300 posters in his 20-year career. He was commissioned by a wide range of clients such as FDB, Politiken, Carlsberg, Dyrup, Volvo, Danish Agriculture, Foreign Affairs, UNICEF and others. His posters for the Expo reflect his playful, "Naive" style, for which he is known and appreciated. (Source: Permild & Rosengreen website) His work can be found in collections worldwide, such as that of the Danish Museum.
Copenhagen was the city, which Ib Antoni was most comfortable in, and when the city's tourist board asked him to draw a draft for a poster, The Royal Danish Guard was born - an image which for many years has been synonymous with Copenhagen and Denmark abroad and at home. Antoni's version of The Little Mermaid followed, amusement park Bakken was presented with a lovely balloon man, and for Tivoli Gardens' 125th anniversary, he designed the famous Tivoli poster.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
