This is an original Guinness poster from the 1961 showing a a man's best friend very much together with hearts and discovering Guinness together by smell.
These were published in magazines, but these must be artists proof or similar as there is no publication listed on the page, and a line on the bottom which refers people directly to Guinness for an offer for the images.

Gerard Hoffnung was a British artist renowned for his surreal and humorous style. Hecontributed witty line illustrations and cartoons to various publications during the 1950s and 1960s, including Punch and Lilliput.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard backed envelope for protection.
