An outstanding vintage French poster from 1962 for the 34th "Foire Internationale de Lyon" or "Lyon Trade Fair" with a magnificent Orange Lion of Lyon grinning back at you. A very French Eurexpo.

The Lyon Fair or Lyon International Fair is an annual event traditionally held in March. Today, it is a commercial exhibition on the world of Home and shopping. For each new edition, an illustrator is entrusted with the creation of the visual identity of the event. The lion is an essential element and can be found on almost all official posters year after year.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm. This poster has been stored folded, so there are crease marks which shouldn't be very noticeable under pressed glass.
These posters will be delivered in a cardboard backed envelope for protection.
