This beautiful original poster shows a number of naively stylised Swedish travel locations, all underpinned by travel there by Swedish State Railways, shown buy large steel wheels at the bottom. It shows lakes, towers, elks, boating, castles and scenes from rural life.
The colours in the poster are just wonderful.

The Swedish State Railways (Statens Järnvägar) was the former government agency responsible for operating the state-owned railways in Sweden. It was created in 1887 as an agency belonging to the Ministry for Civil Service Affairs, with the task of managing all state-owned railway lines in Sweden, and was transferred to the Ministry of Communications in 1920.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.
These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
