This is an original 1964 exhibition lithograph poster from Bernard Villemot for the 1964 Floralies Internationales or "International Paris Flower Show" at the Palais de la Defense in Paris, France.
It shows a beautiful representation of a flower from Villemot.
The exhibition was from April 24th to May 3rd, 1964.

This Floralia Internationales was in Paris in 1964 but the Floralies were created in 1906 and are hosted by a different city annually. They are horticultural exhibitions and flower shows where flowering plants exhibited.

What is special about exhibition and gallery posters is that they are an affordable way of getting good, unique art on the walls, as although it is not an artists original, neither is it something that has been mass reproduced.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
