This is an original poster by Pierre Lelong from 1966 from the Galerie Carlier in the Odeon district in Paris advertising an exhibition. It shows a waitress standing in service of customers in a brasserie or modernist cafe..
Dimensions: 22 in x 15.5 in (56 cm x 39 cm)
The painting is a seperate image from the poster paper which has been attached, which isn't strange fr the age of the poster.

Pierre Lelong was a neo-Impressionist painter based in France, winner of the Grand Prix des Peintres Témoins de Leur Temps in 1972. He is considered one of the postwar group of artists referred to as “La Nouvelle Ecole de Paris.”

Because of the age of these posters and their history, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The posters are traditionally folded up and with their age are creased. The good news is that when framed, the creases and tears press up well against glass, and any rough edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
