Keep California Green / Sir Douglas Quintet and Everpresent Fullness concert poster at the Avalon Ballroom, San Francisco. The image is "fuzzy" in an attempt to make it look like teh psychedelic "feel" with ofset printing which could be rendered with 3D glasses. Only the first edition of this poster has this, and subsequent from the original printing plates. Fuzzy Wuzzy the Bear has a "smoke" belt buckle.

The Sir Douglas Quintet was an American rock band, formed in San Antonio in 1964. With their first hits, they were acclaimed in their home state. When their career was established (subsequent to working with Texas record producer Huey Meaux), the band relocated to the West Coast. Their move coincided with the burgeoning San Francisco psychedelic rock scene of the mid 1960s to early 1970s. Overall, the quintet were exponents of good-times music with strong roots in blues and Texas-regional traditions.

The The Everpresent Fullness were a US folk-rock/surf quintet, present in mid 1960's from the Sunset Strip, LA to the Filmore in San Francisco.

The Avalon Ballroom was a music venue in the Polk Gulch neighborhood of San Francisco, California, at 1244 Sutter Street (or 1268 Sutter, depending on the entrance). The space is known as the location of many concerts of the counterculture movement, from around 1966 to 1969.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.
