Original Dick Moore psychedelic Gemini poster from the Astrology Zodiac, one of the twelve star signs commissioned by Jack Leahy (“Funky Jack”), of San Francisco’s Funky Features, in 1967. The poster shows the Twins flying and hovering over one another looking up into the abyss.
Apparently if you have a UV light or similar then the poster will glow in luminescence in the right light. That's a different piece of art!
Funky Features was originally a home recording studio in an Edwardian house that quickly became a popular recording location for Big Brother and the Holding Company, Cold Blood, Steve Miller, and others.

Gemini (♊︎) ("twins" in Latin) is the third astrological sign in the zodiac. Under the tropical zodiac, the sun transits this sign between about May 21 to June 21. Under the sidereal zodiac, the sun transits this sign from about June 16 to July 16. Gemini is represented by the twins, Castor and Pollux, known as the Dioscuri in Greek mythology. It is a positive, mutable sign. Gemini is associated with the Yang polarity (masculine) in the Yin Yang ancient Chinese concept.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.
