This is an Austrian ski poster from the late 70s or early 80s, and shows the Grosswahlsertal Hats ski run in the Skiland Vorarlberg Austria.

The Klostertal is an alpine valley in Vorarlberg, in Austria. It branches off at Bludenz and extends about 30 kilometers to the east to the Arlberg and the border with Tyrol. The wonderful slopes in the Sonnenkopf ski resort always extend a warm welcome to all winter sporting fans, who can expect state of the art facilities and a wide variety of groomed slopes.

The resort’s advantageous topographical position means that good skiing can be had on the slopes until springtime. Ski bunnies or slope wizards, beginners or experts, young or young at heart – the diverse selection of slopes on the Sonnenkopf means there’s something for everyone. The Sonnenkopf is also considered a real insider tip by freeriders. At almost 8 km, the resort’s longest run, the Vermalen run, is a challenge in itself. After all, 1,300 m altitude difference separates the start, on the Glattingrat, from the finish at the Sonnenkopf valley station. The resort’s Snowman Land means that your kids will never get bored, either, while night-skiers can also revel in a range of activities. A carefully-created sun beach, a relaxing winter hiking trail with benches and an entertaining snow show hiking trail are also just waiting to be discovered.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
