The region of Tirol can be found in Western Austria and is fondly known as the Heart of the Alps. A snow worshipper’s mecca, Tirol provides a stunning alpine backdrop to some of the best skiing in the world. Featuring around 80 ski resorts all with a welcoming glow of Austrian hospitality, snow fans of all abilities are sure to find their perfect winter escape in Tirol.
The region boasts an impressive 3,000 km of skiable terrain with altitudes reaching 3,340m above sea level and is home to world famous resorts such as St Anton, Kitzbühel, Mayrhofen and Alpbach. Navigation within the Tirol region is a breeze with advanced cable car and lift systems plus an array of charming ski in/ ski out accommodation to choose from. Beginners and improvers can pick up some hot new skills from expert tuition in one of over 300 ski schools, whilst adrenaline junkies can get their fix in Tirol’s many snow parks packed full of awesome obstacles.
Guided off-piste ski touring is unlike anywhere else on earth and an ideal way to experience the incredible awe-inspiring backdrop of the Tirolean Glaciers and Alps mountain range. Night skiing is a popular past time of the locals and it’s easy to see why, skiing whilst the sun sets and through enchanted illuminated trails makes a unique and memorable experience.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.
These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
