A vintage French poster from 1972 for the 34th "1er Congrès International de la Mosaïque" or "1st International Mosaic Congress" with a colourful, multi-coloured ight mosaic spiral.

This is for the very First International Mosaic Congress. It was likely a broad gathering intended to bring together artists, historians, and conservators to discuss the entire spectrum of mosaic art, from its ancient heritage to its modern future, and led to the formation or inspiration of later, more specialized international organizations like AIEMA, ICCM and SAMA.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm. This poster has been stored folded, so there are crease marks which shouldn't be very noticeable under pressed glass.
These posters will be delivered in a cardboard backed envelope for protection.
