1972 Camille Hilaire Poster, Forest of strong greens and blues, French Cubism artist, Grand Palais Paris, wall art decor

This is a poster by Hilaire from 1972 from the Grand Palais in Paris advertising an exhibition for "XXXIII Salon du Dessen et de la peinture a l'eau" or "33rd drawing and water-based paint show". The image itself of trees in a forest is quite special compared to other pieces from the period.
The paper is of higher quality than normal.
Dimensions: 37.5 in x 20 in (70 cm x 51 cm)

Camille Hilaire was a French painter and weaver from Metz. He attended the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris during World War II and was also tutored by André Lhote. he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

Because of the age of these posters and their history, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The posters are traditionally folded up and with their age are creased. The good news is that when framed, the creases and tears press up well against glass, and any rough edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
