This is a poster of The Rolling Stones, one of the biggest rock bands of all time. This is an original promotional poster advertising San Francisco leg of The Rolling Stones American Tour held on 6 and 8 June 1972. Bill Graham promoted the two shows.

The Rolling Stones American Tour 1972, also known as the "Stones Touring Party", shortened to S.T.P., was a much-publicized and much-written-about concert tour of the United States and Canada in June and July 1972 by The Rolling Stones. Constituting the band's first performances in the United States following the Altamont Free Concert in December 1969, critic Dave Marsh would later write that the tour was "part of rock and roll legend" and one of the "benchmarks of an era."
The 2nd printing lacks a white line on the lower left edge of the upper die. The first and second were the only ones printed at this size. It was printed after the concert and is also oversized.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.
