The Parc de Bagatelle, while perhaps most famous for its stunning rose garden in the summer, is a spectacular showcase of early season blooms, and the poster captures this perfectly. As a designated botanical garden for the City of Paris, the park dedicates large areas to vibrant bulb collections, including an extensive display of tulips, which herald the arrival of spring. The sight of these colorful, meticulously arranged tulip beds—like the ones dramatically painted in the foreground—provides a breathtaking contrast to the classical white-stone façade of the Château de Bagatelle, creating the picturesque atmosphere celebrated by the "Printemps à Bagatelle" event.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm.
These posters are sent as unframed. They will be rolled up and delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
