This blue, beautiful and very cleanly designed poster is from the Danskt 50-tal ("Danish 1950s") exhibition held in Stockholm in 1981 was a highly significant design showcase, celebrating the golden age of Danish design. It was instrumental in bringing renewed attention to the groundbreaking work of Danish designers from the mid-20th century.

Henning Koppel was a Danish designer, sculptor, and silversmith who became one of the most celebrated figures in Danish Modernism. Renowned for his innovative and organic designs, Koppel worked extensively for Georg Jensen, where his work redefined the company’s approach to modern silverware and jewelry. His contributions have had a lasting impact on Scandinavian design, blending functionality with sculptural beauty.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
