Poul Henningsen was a Danish architect and designer, best known for his groundbreaking lighting designs, particularly his work with Louis Poulsen. His most famous creation is the PH lamp, designed in 1958, which features a multi-shade system to diffuse light and reduce glare, setting a new standard for modern lighting. Henningsen focused on functional, human-centered design. He believed that lighting should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also improve the human experience by providing soft, even illumination. His work is characterized by minimalist, practical designs that prioritize usability and beauty. His PH 5 lamp remains iconic and is still produced today. Henningsen’s work has had a lasting impact on both lighting design and Danish modernism, with his creations continuing to inspire designers worldwide.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
