This gray, beautiful and very cleanly designed poster is from the Danskt 50-tal ("Danish 1950s") exhibition held in Stockholm in 1981 was a highly significant design showcase, celebrating the golden age of Danish design. It was instrumental in bringing renewed attention to the groundbreaking work of Danish designers from the mid-20th century.

Poul Kjærholm was a Danish architect and designer known for his minimalist, functional approach to design, particularly in furniture. His work combined modernist principles with a deep respect for craftsmanship and materials. Kjærholm often used industrial materials like steel, leather, and glass in his designs, creating pieces that were sleek, simple, and elegant. Some of his most famous works include the PK22 lounge chair and the PK24 chaise longue. His designs remain highly regarded for their timeless aesthetic and refined use of materials.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
