This is an advertising poster for the Ecole le Notre Poster (ELN) a horticulture school in Villepreux then Sonchamp. It marks the centenary of the school from 1882 - 1982.

The École Le Nôtre was established in 1882 in Villepreux, Yvelines, as a professional horticultural school. In 1958, the school relocated to the Château de Pinceloup in Sonchamp, near Rambouillet, to accommodate expansion needs. By 1961, it operated as an educational and vocational training center under the supervision of the Conseil Général de la Seine and the institution focused on training youth, particularly those facing family difficulties, in fields such as horticulture, hospitality, and construction trades.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be rolled up and delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
