Magnum were an English progressive rock, melodic hard rock and AOR band. They were formed in Birmingham in 1972 by Tony Clarkin (guitar, songwriter) and Bob Catley (vocals) in order to appear as the resident band at the Rum Runner nightclub in the city. Magnum have undergone several changes in personnel over the years; however, the core of Catley and Clarkin remained until Clarkin's death in 2024. Magnum's most significant early success was Chase the Dragon in 1982, which reached number 17 in the UK Albums Chart.
Rodney Matthews is a British illustrator and conceptual designer of fantasy and science-fiction and designer of posters and musical album covers.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm.
These posters are sent as unframed. They will be rolled up and delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
