This is an advertising poster for the Des Jardins pour Paris from 1983 showing a bed of pink and purple Primula. A model of the Eiffel Tower is nestled between the primula.
It was held at Parc de Bagatelle in Trianon.

In 1983, the Parc Floral de Paris hosted a spring horticultural event titled "Des Jardins pour Paris" ("Gardens for Paris"). This exhibition showcased various floral displays, including a notable bed of Primula (primroses), celebrating the diversity of Parisian gardens. Established in 1969 within the Bois de Vincennes, the Parc Floral de Paris has been a prominent venue for botanical exhibitions and competitions. The park features themed gardens such as the Vallée des Fleurs (Valley of Flowers), where seasonal displays are regularly updated, and the Jardin des Quatre Saisons (Garden of the Four Seasons).

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be rolled up and delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
