This original lithograph exhibition poster is from La Hune in Place St Germain, Paris for an exhibition in 1985 featuring "Oriflammes" or "Banners" from Jean Debuffet, one of the architects of Art Brut, a lithograph that has since become emblematic of his work during that period.

Jean Dubuffet (1901–1985) was a French painter and sculptor who founded the Art Brut ("raw art") movement. He celebrated art created outside traditional norms, like works by children, psychiatric patients, and self-taught artists.
Jean Dubuffet's "Oriflammes" (1984) is a series of sixteen colorful serigraphs (silkscreen prints), accompanied by handwritten text. The title, "Oriflammes," translates to "banners" or "standards," symbolizing boldness and prominence.
What is special about exhibition and gallery posters is that they are an affordable way of getting good, unique art on the walls, as although it is not an artists original, neither is it something that has been mass reproduced.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the charm.
These posters are sent as unframed. They are delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
