Casablanca (1942) is a classic wartime romance set in Nazi-occupied Morocco. It follows Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), an American nightclub owner, whose past love, Ilsa Lund (Ingrid Bergman), unexpectedly arrives with her husband, Victor Laszlo, a resistance leader. As Ilsa seeks Rick’s help to escape the Nazis, old feelings resurface. Torn between love and duty, Rick ultimately chooses to help Ilsa and Victor flee, delivering the iconic farewell: "Here’s looking at you, kid."
Because of the age of these posters and their history, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The posters are traditionally folded up and with their age are creased. The good news is that when framed, the creases and tears press up well against glass, and any rough edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
