This is a 2004 poster for Las Vegas. It's a reproduction of the famous David Klein poster that he did for TWA in the 1960s advertising flights to Las Vegas. The poster features a showgirl-like figure split into two halves, representing the dual nature of Las Vegas with both day and night activities. The dark, left side of the poster depicts nightlife and gambling, with a roulette wheel, playing cards, and a bingo card. The bright, right side of the poster shows a stylized sun wearing sunglasses, a palm tree, and a swimming pool, representing daytime leisure and resort life.
Artist: David Klein.

David Klein was an American artist, best known for his influential work in advertising. Although he produced illustrations for Broadway theatrical productions, Hollywood films, the United States Army, and numerous corporate clients, Klein is best remembered for the iconic travel images he created for Howard Hughes and Trans World Airlines (TWA) during the 1950s and 1960s.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
