Marc Quinn is a prominent British contemporary artist and a member of the Young British Artists (YBA) group. His work, which spans sculpture, painting, and installation, focuses on the human condition, identity, and the conflict between nature and culture. He is famous for using unconventional and often provocative materials:
Self (1991–present): A self-portrait bust cast from four liters of his own frozen blood, kept refrigerated.
Alison Lapper Pregnant (2005): A monumental marble statue of the pregnant, disabled artist Alison Lapper, which was displayed on the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square.
Garden (2000): An installation of exotic flowers perfectly preserved by being submerged in frozen liquid silicone oil, reflecting on the desire for eternal beauty and the tension between life and death.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
