2007 From Palermo to America Poster, Sicilian Italian immigration to the United States, wall art decor

This exhibition poster is from the Citta di Palermo in Sicily for an exhibition in 2007 featuring "From Palermo to America". It features "l'iconographia commerciale delgi agrumi di Sicilia" or "the commercial iconography of Sicilian citrus fruits". The image is of a very long legged Uncle Sam stepping from the mountains of Sicilty with a branch of a lemon tree, on manhatten next to the Flatiron Building.

Condition: rough edges, with white marks on edges, (some additional glare on black in photos) see photos.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
