An original concert screenprint for the Black Keys’ performance at Alexandra Palace, London, on 10 February 2012. Hand signed in black marker by both band members, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, and signed in pencil by artist Chuck Sperry at the bottom right.
Titled “Lachesis”, this design forms part of Sperry’s “The Three Fates” series, created for the band’s three-night London residency during the El Camino tour. The flower-crowned figure represents the Greek Fate who measures the thread of life. Bright red, blue and gold printing sits against shimmering pearl-silver paper.
The print is numbered 23 from the edition of 260. This is the individual Lachesis panel.
Chuck Sperry is an American artist celebrated for his psychedelic concert posters and intricate screenprinting. His flowing figures, elaborate patterns and mythological subjects connect contemporary rock music with the decorative style of Art Nouveau.
Printing method: four-colour screenprinting on pearl-silver paper.
Dimensions: 23.5 in x 10.5 in (60 cm x 27 cm)
Condition: appears very good overall, with light handling marks and minor edge wear. Hand signed by both band members and the artist. See photos for detail.

Chuck Sperry, born in 1962, is an American artist known for elaborate screenprinted concert posters. His work combines psychedelic colours, flowing Art Nouveau-style drawing and women inspired by classical mythology. He designs prints as collectible artworks as well as advertisements for concerts. His work is held by institutions including SFMOMA, whose collection describes his longstanding interest in mythological muses. This poster brings those interests together particularly clearly.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard backed envelope for protection.
