This is a 1980s poster of Martin Luther King, with the inscription, "From every mountainside let freedom ring. Features a portrait of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. against an 80s rainbow-like background. The poster was designed by Carol Livingston. The quote at the top of the poster from Dr. King’s seminal “I Have a Dream” speech, delivered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial during the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

Because of the age of these posters and their history, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The posters are traditionally folded up and with their age are creased. The good news is that when framed, the creases and tears press up well against glass, and any rough edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
