Original Vintage British Educational Geography Map Kingdoms of Judah and Israel in biblical times historical Poster print wall art 1950s

This is a vintage Hazell, Watson and Viney poster of the Holy Land showing the Kingdoms of Judah and Israel at the time of Christ.

Dimensions: 21.5 in x 15.5 in (55 cm x 40 cm)

Condition: note the water damage at the left edge.

It is one of the portfolio of posters designed for teaching in the classroom during the 1950s. They had been kept by the previous owner who used to live down the road from the factory, and they were given to them when they were 7 in the 1950s!

Because of the age of these posters, and their use in the classroom, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years in the classroom are part of the vintage charm.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
