Large vintage French poster from the 1940s, "Light like a Gazelle".
Dimensions: 60.2 in x 44.1 in (153 cm x 112 cm)

“Legeres Comme un Gazelle” by Robys. Created by Robys circa 1935, this was intended to be used by local retailers selling the shoes produced by the Gazelle Company. The white panel in the image was to be used by the retailer to put in their local address, hours of operation, and telephone number.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm. Note that this poster has been stored folded but will press well up against glass.

When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.

These posters are sent in a cardboard-backed envelope tube for protection.
