This is an original 1964 beautiful deep blue poster by Raymond Savignac (1907-2002) for the national French railways, SNCF (Société nationale des chemins de fer français). It shows half a man in a brown coat signifying that fares are half price on a rich blue background.

When framed, this colourful and detailed poster can become a centerpiece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
These posters will be rolled up and delivered in a cardboard tube for protection.
