USSR WW2 Propoganda Poster, Soviet Communist Russia, Operation Barbarossa, wall art 1970s
This is a vintage mid century print of WW2, Operation Barbarossa, the German invasion of the USSR. It shows a bold Soviet army advancing with tanks against a retreating German force.
This poster is from a portfolio of similar posters from the 1970s. At the bottom of each print it shows the print run and the designers, artists and poets responsible for the poster.
Dimensions: 16.9 in x 22.4 in (43 cm x 57 cm)
Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm.
This poster will be sent in a cardboard tube for protection.
