An exquisite pin-up beauty stands in front of an orange exhaust funnel. She wears a red necktie, a fiftes style fahionable white blouse and well-fitted red shorts. She looks to the horizon with excitement, hope and promise.
This is an outstanding mid century poster, rich in full preserved colour, from the French maritime company of Chargeurs Renunis.

The caption says "Compangne maritime des Chargeurs Reunis" which translates to "The Shipping Company, Chargeurs Reunis"

Chargeurs Réunis (United Shippers) is a major French company formed in 1872. It is now known as Chargeurs. Chargeurs was founded in 1872 as a shipping company, initially operating between Le Havre and the River Plate.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm. This poster has been stored folded, so there are crease marks which shouldn't be very noticeable under pressed glass.

These posters will be delivered in a cardboard backed envelope for protection.
