Vintage German Jung Koch Quentell wall chart Entomostraca crustacean seahorse anatomical wall art retro 1950s Hagemann

These vintage wall charts are by Jung Koch and Quentell. They were published using lithographic printing onto linen from originally around 1900 depicting both flora and fauna, although this one is from the 1950s. You can tell this because the publisher Hagemann started to date them in the 1960s. They have signature black backgrounds designed by the teacher Heinrich Jung, biologist Dr Friedrich Quentell and painter Professor Gottlieb von Koch.

which is a historical subclass of crustaceans, no longer in technical use. It was originally considered one of the two major lineages of crustaceans (the other being the class Malacostraca), combining all other classes – Branchiopoda, Cephalocarida, Ostracoda, Copepoda and Maxillopoda.
The bottom footer is "Jung-Koch-Quentell" Lehrmittelvertag Hagemann Düsseldorf.

The poster has beautiful colours and has repair at the top edge with tape - probably from a classroom. These colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.

These posters will be rolled up and delivered in a cardboard tube for protection. This item is over 90cm long, so is categorised as "oversized postage" which is expensive to send, so this has been built into the price.
