Vintage Media and Newspaper Poster, Blick brand, 1970 tabloid advertising poster, wall art retro 1970s

A poster showing a bold red and white logo on a vivid blue backgruond, a 1970 Swiss advertising poster promoting Blick, a Swiss German-language newspaper which was founded in 1959. It was the first Swiss tabloid publication and from 1995 to 1996 Blick had a circulation of 335,143 copies, making it the best-selling paper in the country.

Because of the age of these posters, there are areas of wear and tear, particularly on the edges. I have done my best to take photos where they are torn or stained. The good news is that when framed, the tears press up well against glass, and edges can be hidden by mats. Any wear picked up from years are part of the vintage charm. This poster has been stored folded, so there are crease marks which shouldn't be very noticeable under pressed glass.

These posters will be delivered in a cardboard backed envelope for protection.
