This is Gustav Klutsis's (1895-1944) 1930 print, "Coal debt shall be repaid to our country". Klutsis was the first propaganda artist to use photographic prints in Soviet political posters.

Dimensions: 15.5 in x 12 in (40 cm x 30 cm)

This is from a set of vintage reprints from 1973 from the Aurora Art Publishers in Leningrad of famous communist posters. They have good vintage age to them, and are not modern reprints.

They are posters from the Russian Museum collection and the Department of Prints of the Saltykov-Shchedrin Public Library.

Not all prints are the same size, and this one requires a trim before it is mounted. When framed these colourful and detailed posters, with vibrant colours can become a centre piece for any room, to remind us of a simpler time.

These posters are sent as unframed. They will be sent in a cardboard backed envelope for protection.
